Advice for Prospective Students

Never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and ask many when you don’t know something. Give yourself grace as you discover yourself, your passion, and your goals. Always remember you have a whole team of people rooting for your success and will walk with you through the process of school & life. Simply do it scared!

My Favorite Things to Do in the Surrounding Area

I love to be outdoors when possible! Since I am new to the area, I am discovering new hikes and beautiful sites. If you don’t see me outdoors, I will be at the gym or the pottery studio I am a member of. I love creating art and making practical items for my home.

My Favorite Spot on Campus

Since the campus is so green, I would say I am happy with any patch of grass where I can put a blanket down and read a book, or eat a quick snack.

Fun Facts About Me

I make pottery, try to hike every national park in the nation with my sister, have three dogs who I adore, can probably stare at an old building with lots of history for hours, read a ton of psychology or self-help books, and lastly, I am a proud child of immigrants.

Campus Resources I Believe are Especially Valuable for Students

Health & Wellness Resources on campus that help you reground yourself and pour into your wellbeing.

Campus Meditation Room, a special place where students can grow in their faith and reconnect with their beliefs. Great for staying grounded in faith and for praying in a quiet space.

Food Pantry (Oak Shack) is such a great resource, especially for hungry college students who study late or need a meal on the go.
