Biography

Dr. Esra Coskun-Crabtree, Esq. is a legal scholar, educator, and choreographer whose work bridges law, philosophy, and the performing arts. She holds a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, with specializations in Public Interest Law, Business Law, and Litigation, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Literature from Purdue University.
Dr. Coskun-Crabtree’s scholarship includes publications on constitutional rights, gender, and semiotics, alongside comparative constitutional and employment law research. Her teaching spans law, philosophy, languages, and communication, and she currently serves as adjunct faculty at Menlo College while also working as a Law Fellow with California Lawyers for the Arts.
Beyond academia, Dr. Coskun-Crabtree has more than a decade of experience in program and people management, having led service delivery operations at Accenture. As a practicing choreographer and performer under the name Es “Delight” Co Dance, she continues to create original works presented across the Bay Area and supports emerging artists by serving on the Board of Directors of SAFEhouse Arts.
A lifelong student of languages and cultures, she is fluent in Turkish, English, and French, and brings an international and interdisciplinary perspective to her teaching, research, and creative practice.
