Campus Safety Officers are on duty 24/7, and are always available to assist in person or by phone. Phone: (650) 400-5837 Security Office is located in Arrillaga Hall, between Arrillaga and Kratt Halls Exterior residence hall doors are locked 24/7, with electronic access control. DO NOT PROP DOORS. Reasons to call security: lock-outs, feeling unsafe for any reason, suspicious activity or visitor, stolen or lost items, neighbors being too loud at night, emergency maintenance issue (ie, exploding toilet)
Menlo College uses Verkada security systems to protect residents by securing all dormitory exterior doors. Do not prop doors open under any circumstances. Registered guests will receive an email to download the Verkada Pass App.
To enter, enable Bluetooth on your device. Access is only granted after checking in and receiving your key from the conference services office. Once the app displays “No Doors Nearby,” hold your phone near a black entrance panel. It will light up green when access is granted. For issues, contact summerhousing@menlo.edu

Once you receive your first piece of mail, you will receive a mailbox and the post office will e-mail you your mailbox number. Mailboxes can be opened from the Student Union. Envelopes will be picked up in your mailbox; Amazon packages MUST be delivered to Dugan (see below); other packages will need to be picked up at the post office during business hours.
Please know that non-standard shipping providers (other USPS, UPS, FedEx, sometimes Amazon) have new drivers delivering every day, and packages sometimes end up all over campus. Menlo College Conference Services is not responsible for lost items due to a shipping provider not delivering to the Post Office. You will need to discuss those issues with the company that shipped your item.
If you need to have something delivered Next-day and it will arrive outside of Post Office hours, you may have the item shipped to the same address above, but attention: Admissions Office. The Admissions Office is open 9:00am – 5:00pm and will hold your package for you for pick up. Packages left after 5:00pm on Fridays will be moved to the Post Office for pick up the following week.
Please have your food delivered to our Food Delivery Lockers, located on Alejandra Avenue in front of Kratt Hall. Use the address:
This will bring the driver to Kratt Hall, where there is a place for them to park temporarily. In the delivery notes, ask the driver to place your food in the lockers near Kratt’s entrance and to inform you of the locker number, but do not lock the locker. Be sure to pick up your delivery promptly!
Parking permits are digital and tied to your license plate. You may park in any lot on campus with the exception of staff lots and ADA (handicap) spots. Full Summer Parking Permits are $100 Your name and email information will be added to our parking system, which may take a few days. In the meantime, we can give you instructions to secure a temporary parking permit upon arrival. Once you are confirmed for the full summer permit, you will receive an email to re-register your vehicle.
The dining hall has varying days of operation, based on the capacity on campus this summer. The schedule and menu will be updated below:

Check-in is available during our office hours, Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 5:00pm. Conference Services and Summer Housing is located in the Campus Store building, marked #6 on the Campus Map.

Complementary laundry facilities are located in each residence hall. In Arrillaga Hall, the facility is on the first floor. In O’Brien Hall, the facility is located on the first floor. For El Camino Hall, the laundry room by the restrooms.
You will need to provide your own laundry soap and other supplies.
Refrigerator/microwave units must be returned in the same condition as received, completely empty and clean. Units will be collected by Conference Services staff the Week of August 3rd, 2026 (prior to some move-outs). Notification will be sent in the weeks preceding, but please plan to not have your unit for the last couple days of your stay if you will be moving out the week of August 3rd.
If you added linens to your reservation, you will find a bundle of linens in your room when you arrive.

The Menlo College Campus Store offers a variety of snacks, ice cream, and coffee for purchase. Additionally, you’ll find a selection of Menlo College apparel. The conference services office is also located in the back of the campus store.
Upon agreement with your roommate (if applicable), you are permitted one guest to your room for a maximum of 5 days. You must be physically present with your guest at all times – they may not enter or exit the building or walk the hallways without you. Guests must abide by all Menlo College policies. Interns are responsible for their guests’ behavior.
Candles, Fireworks, explosives, or flammable liquids, Weapons of any kind, Illegal substances are not permitted in the residence halls under any circumstances for the safety of everyone.
Pets are not allowed in the Menlo College residence halls.
