Mental Health Services

The MHS Clinic is dedicated to providing a broad range of cost-free support to currently registered Menlo students. Services are currently available by video for students physically located in the state of California. We strive to provide services that reflect our strong commitment to diversity and to the individual needs of all students here at Menlo.

How to Schedule an Appointment

Menlo College’s Mental Health Services Clinic is closed for summer recess. We will re-open again for the fall 2021 semester.

If this is an emergency, please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room. Otherwise, please contact Dr. La’Tonya Rease Miles, Dean of Student Affairs, at latonya.reasemiles@menlo.edu or call Campus Security at 650-400-5837.

Students who have SHIP (Menlo College insurance) may contact CareConnect directly for services until July 31, 2021 at 1-888-857-5462

These services include:

MHS also functions as a training facility. Each academic year, graduate practicum students completing their doctoral training in clinical psychology at the clinic. They receive supervision from the Director of MHS. Our staff develops evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique background and needs by working together with students, our campus partners, and community providers.

Sessions in our clinic are confidential to ensure that students feel free to share anything that is important to them. With few exceptions that will be reviewed upon your first visit, no information is released without the student’s consent or request.
