Originally from Kāne‘ohe, Hawai‘i, Tess has built a career spanning both hospitality and higher education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Linfield University and a Master’s degree in Communications from Purdue University.
Before joining Menlo College, Tess worked at the Walt Disney World Resort. Her roles included Guest Relations coordinator, trainer at Disney University, guiding backstage tours at the Magic Kingdom, leading VIP tours, and more.
Tess has been at Menlo College for over 10 years, beginning as an Admissions Counselor focused on recruiting out-of-state students. She now serves as the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, overseeing the college’s marketing department and initiatives. Additionally, Tess facilitates Menlo 101, the college’s introduction to college seminar course, where she enjoys connecting with first-year students and supporting their transition to the Menlo Experience.
Outside of her professional role, Tess enjoys traveling, watching movies, and all things Disney, especially visiting Disney theme parks.
