Welcome to Kristen Dietiker, CIO

Kristen Dietiker joined Menlo College as Chief Information Officer

Kristen Dietiker joined Menlo College as Chief Information Officer as of September 1, 2015. Dietiker’s appointment represents another important step taken by the college in its effort to strengthen its information technology infrastructure.

Reflecting the extent to which information technology is core to the mission of Menlo College, the school has invested over $1 million in technology improvements in recent years.

“The building blocks are already in place,” said Dietiker. “Menlo is now poised to leverage technology to not only improve the student experience, but also improve campus efficiencies. The college has an exciting future and I’m eager to help advance effective and innovative uses of technology in collaboration with students, faculty and staff.”

Dietiker received her undergraduate degree from Muskingum College, and her master’s degree from the University of Washington.  She completed certificate training programs in network management and information systems management, and is a certified Information Systems Security Professional.

Dietiker’s pursuit of continued education also led her to complete the EDUCAUSE management program, and to enroll in the EDUCAUSE Leadership Program (EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association devoted to advancing higher education through the use of information technology).

Since 2004, Dietiker worked for the University of Washington, where most recently she was Assistant Director of IT in the School of Medicine. She has a track record of accomplishments leading IT professionals, directing technology improvements, and supporting end users.
