Menlo College is pleased to welcome back Visiting Scholar-in-Residence, Yimei Wang. Ms. Wang is an associate professor in the Department of English, School of Foreign Languages, at Peking University, China, and will teach Chinese Literature and Chinese Culture this fall.
“I got to know some of the best professors and people at Menlo College more than a decade ago and I am looking forward to working again in one of America's best colleges, Menlo College,” said Dr. Wang.
At Peking University, she has focused on teaching English as a foreign language. At the University of Victoria, her major research area was Language Arts—the skills and methodology of English teaching as a second/foreign language. In addition to translation of autobiographies and articles of popular readings, she is the co-author of 12 English textbooks for grade school pupils.
Ms. Wang received her Master of Education from the University of Victoria, Canada.
