44-42 Victory over Pacific University Wraps Up Oaks Football Season

As the sun rose Saturday, Menlo College's last football game was soon upon us. Senior day brought fans from near and far filling the stands. Pacific university travels very well with fans however Menlo students, teachers, and parents packed the field creating a positive outlook for Menlo seniors.

Menlo came out and dominated the line of scrimmage and turned this game into a dogfight at the point of contact. Menlo established the run and stuck with it throughout the whole game letting Payton Bell carry the work load and setting a single game rushing record with 41 carries, 327 yards from scrimmage, and 5 touchdowns. Bell took the spotlight during his senior game and ended his Menlo career on the highest note possible.
