U.S. News & World Report has named Menlo College as a “Best College” in its 2012 edition of “America’s Best Colleges,” released this week. Menlo ranked in the top tier of schools in the Regional Colleges (West) category.

“We are honored to be recognized among such a prestigious group of schools,” said President James Kelly. “This comes just one month after Menlo was named 'Best in the West' by The Princeton Review for the third straight year. This remarkable accomplishment proves yet again that our Silicon Valley location, innovative programs, and vibrant campus life have made Menlo College a 'school of choice' for students seeking an outstanding undergraduate business education.”

Regional colleges are classified as schools that emphasize undergraduate education, but award fewer than 50% of their degrees in the liberal arts. In total, 371 colleges are ranked as “Best Regional Colleges” according to geographic region (North, South, Midwest, and West).
