Menlo Launches Its Right-Fit Program

November 29, 2012

Menlo College launched the Right-Fit Program, which lets high school seniors experience what it’s like to be a Menlo student.  Prospective students attend class, stay in Menlo’s residence halls, and attend campus activities.

The first group of students arrived on campus on November 14, 2012. They had the opportunity to sit in on Dr. Derek Stimel’s Economics class and socialize with current Menlo students at a bonfire later that evening. During their stay, students ate in Menlo’s all-organic cafeteria. Each of the guests stayed the night in a residence hall room with student leaders best matched to fit their personalities and future goals.

When asked about their experience, the visiting students said that they did not know much about the College however, they were able to learn a lot during their visits. One student stated: “Menlo is very welcoming and the visit helped me gain a true Menlo experience.” Another visitor recommended the program “as it gives a sense of what it’s like to be a student at Menlo. It made me want to go here.”

Students, who wish to take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience college life for a day, must apply for admission in order to participate in this program. Register now at
