Menlo College Mourns Loss of Beloved Director Emerita of Alumni Relations

Menlo College Mourns Loss of Beloved Director Emerita of Alumni RelationsAtherton, CA – On September 7, 2017, Menlo College lost a treasure in the passing of Dorothy Skala, director emerita of alumni relations. Dorothy began her career as an assistant to John “Judge” Russell. After 54 years of faithful service, she retired as Director of Alumni Relations in 2009.

Dorothy was loved by many, but especially students and “her alums.” Even in her later years, she attended alumni events and fondly remembered her time at Menlo. Alumni adored her and treasured their time in her presence. She was a confidante, counselor and friend. She will be missed and her memory will be cherished forever.
