Local News Media Draws Attention to Menlo College’s Saudi Students

Menlo College is proud of the more than 100 alumni from Saudi Arabia. Current Menlo students Abdullah Al Akeel, Manhal Elhein and Abdulaziz Al-Saud were featured in a KPIX Channel 5 news story about their role in continuing the more than 50-year tradition of Menlo College students that call Saudi Arabia their home.  The three students were also recently featured with their Menlo classmates Faisal Alkabbani, Nawaf Al Akeel, and Abdulaziz Al-Benyan in a San Francisco Chronicle article.  Menlo College “has a big name back home,” explained accounting student Manhal Elhein. Current and former Menlo College students include members of the House of Saud, the ruling royal family of Saudi Arabia.  They consistently explain Menlo’s draw as its prestige as a top business school.
