John Schott Becomes Menlo’s First CalCPA Campus Ambassador

December 7, 2012

Menlo College is proud to join the CalCPA Campus Ambassadors program and congratulates junior John Schott on becoming its first CalCPA Campus Ambassador. John will serve as a CalCPA representative at Menlo and will focus on increasing awareness of free CalCPA student membership, improving visibility of CalCPA on campus, and helping CalCPA chapters add connections between members and future CPAs.

“CalCPA has been a generous supporter of Menlo accounting students through scholarships and events. We are proud to be included in the program,” said Donna Little, Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at Menlo. “Our Campus Ambassador, John Schott, is an outstanding and well-rounded student.”

Schott, who is Vice President of the Menlo Accounting Club and pitcher on the college’s baseball team, recently won a CalCPA Peninsula/Silicon Valley Scholarship. He will also be interning next summer with Deloitte, one of the big four accounting firms.
