Menlo College will kick off its 85th Anniversary Celebration with an All-Alumni Reunion during the Homecoming Weekend on October 19 and 20, 2012.  The event will bring together several generations of Menlo alumni from all over the world to celebrate the college’s achievements since its inception in 1927.

On Friday, October 19, all guests will have an opportunity to hear the keynote speaker, David Irmer, Sr., SBA ’58, followed by two sessions of the Business Showcase, where Menlo alumni will discuss the state of business in professional sports, banking and investing, international business, enterprise, entertainment and social media, public service, writing, and real estate.  The 4th Annual Señor Carlos López Memorial Soccer Tournament will be held in the afternoon. The day will conclude with the Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony.

On Saturday, October 20, prior to the Homecoming football game, the Menlo community will be invited to the “Start me up” social.  The game will be followed by a press conference with Head Coach Mark Speckman.  The two-day festivities will finish with “Taste of Menlo”, a presentation by alumni vintners and microbrewers, and the Alumni Reunion Dinner.

Menlo College will also host an Open House on Saturday for all prospective students and their parents to visit the campus and take part in the 85th Anniversary celebration.
