Last week, Menlo College wrapped up the 2012 California Challenge program, a two unit Introduction to the Humanities course for 20 of the brightest students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. The course, entitled “Money, Business, and American Culture”, was created in 2008 in partnership between two institutions to give the students from Singapore an opportunity to study business, liberal arts, and American culture in the heart of the Silicon Valley.

“I learned a lot from this trip. Professors have been great!” said Edwin Luke Wee, one of the students. “It’s a nice place, the atmosphere is really good. We enjoy the weather so much! We love it!” added Zhang Quan and Gavin Ng.
