Menlo College invites you to the 4th Annual Señor Carlos López Memorial Soccer Tournament on October 19, 2012. This year marks the first time in the history of the tournament that there will be a women's game in addition to the men's game. Both games will take place during Menlo's 85th Anniversary Celebration. An alumni committee, headed by Karl Buder ’66, John Rooke ’88 and Andreas Strieve ’86, Amy Cusick ’09, and Victor Rico Gutierrez ’09, is committed to raising funds for the Carlos Lopez Endowed Scholarship by producing a tournament that honors Señor Lopez and the sport he loved.

Alumni Enrique Ybarra-Valdenebros, Buder, and Rooke envisioned the tournament as a self-sustaining event bolstered by generous sponsorships and individual contributions. The Menlo College community is proud to partner with them, and we encourage you to support their efforts.

  • $50 per person to play, including a jersey;
  • $10 per guest aged 12 and up;

Proceeds from the 2012 Señor Carlos López Memorial Soccer Tournament are designated for the Carlos López Endowed Scholarship Fund.
