The Bay Area’s biggest tech companies including Facebook, Google, Pinterest, Dropbox, and Twitter will perform a cappella August 21 to cap the finale of Menlo College’s free summer concert series.

These five a cappella bands are set to close out the free concert series on Friday, August 21 from 5-8 pm, hosted at the beautiful campus located at 1000 El Camino Real, Atherton, CA 94027 in the heart of Silicon Valley. The bands include Googlepella (Google), The Vocal Network (Facebook), Songbirds (Twitter), Pintune (Pinterest) and Syncopation (Dropbox.)

The NASDAQ Private Summer Concert Series at Menlo College includes a mixture of live music and celebrity MC’s, food trucks, free parking, fun giveaways, and more.

“We hope to welcome everyone in the Silicon Valley community and the immediate Atherton and Menlo Park areas for great music and great food in a welcoming environment on our campus,” said Richard A. Moran, president of Menlo College. Moran will also serve as the MC for part of the evening. Moran will be joined as MC by well-known Silicon Valley venture capitalist Heidi Roizen.

The series kicked off with celebrity MC Scott Page, a saxophonist who played with Pink Floyd, hosting and playing alongside 90s cover band Murphy’s Lawyers on June 26th. Every other Friday following, Menlo College welcomed bands like Undercover, Alexander Eccles and El Desayuno to their stage. The free series concludes Friday, August 21, with the five bands and a silent auction benefiting the Nasdaq Foundation.
