CalCPA Recognizes Menlo College Accounting Students


Atherton, CA – November 10, 2017 –The Peninsula Silicon Valley chapter of CalCPA recognized two Menlo College accountings students for their outstanding achievements. Hunter Dupee ’18 and Ariel Lipski ’18 were both recognized for high academic achievement and progress towards becoming Certified Public Accountants. Along with six other Menlo College students, Dupee and Lipski also received Book Awards from CalCPA, which recognizes high academic achievement in upper division accounting courses.

These recognitions extend a 15 year unbroken record of the recognition of Menlo College accounting students by the Peninsula Silicon Valley chapter of CalCPA. The cash value of the awards bestowed on Menlo College students over the 15 years exceeds $60,000. Funding for these awards comes from CalCPA members and sponsors, whose support also furthers efforts to cause CalCPA members to be viewed as leaders in professional competency and integrity by clients, employers, the public, and government officials. Menlo College is grateful to, and proud of the recognition our students have received from CalCPA over the years.
