Health, Wellness, & Safety

The first priority of your experience abroad is your health, wellness, and safety. Our partner institutions and programs provide resources in case of emergencies or illness, which we review upon developing partnership agreements.

We require all students to purchase international health insurance for the duration of their study abroad program. All study abroad options utilize the same carrier, CISI.

Studying in another country can be an emotionally stressful experience, even if it is your second – or even third – time doing it. All programs offer on-site support for students studying abroad, and you are welcome to reach out to Kelly, Assistant Director of Career Services and Study Abroad, at any time, for any reason!

While we at Menlo College offer resources and support to students studying abroad, students are ultimately responsible for their own health, wellness, safety, and security while abroad.
