Innovation Center Wish List

University Innovation Fellows Leadership Circle – $10,000
Sponsor our next Leadership Circle of University Innovation Fellows (UIF) who will be trained as change agents to improve Menlo College through innovation and entrepreneurship.

The program fee covers six-weeks of intensive online leadership training for the students and participation in a three-day Silicon Valley Meetup with other University Fellows from around the world at Stanford University d.School, Google, and Microsoft.

A donation of $5,000 sponsors one team of four students. It would be great to have two Menlo College teams represented this year.

Technology Resources – $12,000
Students need technology to support their creative ideas while learning through innovation:

Menlo College Startup Weekend – $5,000
Support Menlo College’s first ever Startup Weekend, where teams will compete to pitch the best startup idea. The Startup Weekend will be open to Menlo College students and the public. One goal will be to invite teams from partner community colleges, in an effort to support enrollment goals. This effort has been initiated by Menlo College student, Ethan Moengchaisong, who placed third in the 2017 Maui Startup Weekend competition.

Entrepreneurship Speaker Series Honoraria – $3,000
Support student immersion in learning from entrepreneurs by providing an honorarium for top Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and leaders to be part of the speaker series.

Other projects – $30,000
