About this course

Drawing on decades of research and the work with leaders of major companies around the world, as well as successful entrepreneurs, this course will focus on the changing role and practices of leaders in organizations that will need to be transformed. The content will focus on four broad domains:

About the faculty

The course will be led by John Hagel, who has nearly 40 years of experience as a management consultant, author, speaker, and entrepreneur. John recently retired as the founder and leader of the Center for Edge, a Deloitte research center in Silicon Valley. Throughout his career, John has worked with leaders of large institutions around the world and as a faculty member at Singularity University. John is the author of The Power of Pull and a series of best-selling business books, Net Gain, Net Worth, Out of the Box, and The Only Sustainable Edge. He is widely published and quoted in major business publications including The Economist, Fortune, Forbes, Business Week, and Wall Street Journal, as well as general media like the New York Times, NBC, and BBC. He has won two awards from Harvard Business Review for best articles and has been recognized as an industry thought leader by a variety of publications and institutions, including the World Economic Forum and Business Week.

John will be assisted by Annika Steiber, Director for Rendanheyi Center & Faculty of Menlo College; author of The Google Model (2014), The Silicon Valley Model-Management for Entrepreneurship, Management for the Digital Age (2016), and Management in the Digital Age, (2018)
