How to Upload Files from Google Drive to MOLE

(Thanks to author Ngozi Harrison for sharing his article originally published by Menlo Oak Press)

Many Menlo students use Google Drive to work on assignments in the cloud. It is convenient, collaboration-friendly, and most importantly, it is free. Files are automatically backed up and there is no need to upgrade the storage since we receive free unlimited storage here at Menlo. However, it can be very annoying to login to Google, download the file, login to MOLE, and then upload the file into an Assignment. Not only is this inefficient but files tend to get corrupted along the way, causing headaches for the student and professor. The good news is there is another way! Schoology offers the ability to link your Google Drive account and upload files directly from the cloud.

Here are the steps to link the two accounts:

  1. Click on the Resources tab at the top of the page.
  2. On the dropdown menu, select Apps.
  3. Select Google Drive.
  4. Click connect and give account access using Google Sign In.
