Community Responsibility
|
In light of the adult responsibilities associated
with college enrollment and becoming a member of the Menlo College community,
the College expects each student to behave in a conscientious and responsible
manner with due respect and regard for the welfare and sensibilities of
others. Regulations are adopted with that purpose in mind. College policies
on various aspects of campus life are fully explained in the Student Handbook,
prepared annually and available for review online. New students will review
the handbook during Orientation.
Students are required to review and know
the policies described in the Housing License Agreement and the Student
Handbook. Menlo reserves the right to change policies as necessary and
appropriate. The Student Code of Conduct (Code) is contained in the Student
Handbook and is used as a basis for evaluating appropriate campus life
behavior. Violations of this Code result in disciplinary actions including
community service, fines, mandatory counseling, and in extreme cases,
eviction from housing, no trespassing, suspension or expulsion. Ignorance
of the Code is not a valid excuse for violation of the Code.
