Academic Resources
Here is an overview of academic resources students have available on campus
Academic Success Center
The primary mission of Menlo College’s Academic Success Center “ASC” is to assist students in achieving academic success.
The Writing Center
The Writing Center, located in Bowman Library, offers Menlo College students one-on-one writing support. We work with students on any assignment—course essays, cover letters, research papers, memoir pieces, personal statements, thesis projects, etc.—and at any stage in the writing process—from thesis development and outlining to final revision and documentation.
Peer Tutoring in the Tutor Lab
The Academic Success Center (ASC) offers Peer Tutoring, a Writing Lab, a computer lab, and an intimate setting for study groups. The ASC is located between Bowman Library and the Menlo Bookstore. Peer Tutors are upper division students who have demonstrated academic excellence in the subject matter for which they tutor. Please contact the ASC directly at 650.543.3845 for more information about the specific subjects for which tutoring is available during these hours of operation.
