Student Union

The Student Union is the social and recreational hub of campus life for residents and day students at Menlo College. The building is open daily from 9:00 am to midnight and located next to the Hayes-Prim Pavilion. Students are welcome to visit the Union and enjoy the variety of facilities and services, many of which are free of charge.

Student Union Staff

Union staff oversees the recreation area of the Union and provides management and programming of that space. Use of gaming equipment is unavailable without the presence of Union staff. Check out the Union Staff Programming Calendar for upcoming events.

Student Union Rules

  1. Please respect Union equipment & staff
  2. Please appropriately use gaming tables & equipment (No eating/drinking, standing, sitting, or poster making on tables & do NOT move gaming tables) *Violators will be fined & documented*
  3. Do NOT move furniture (tables, chairs, couches, etc.) without Union staff approval and please return it to its original location after use
  4. Please use designated poster-making area *Violators will be fined and documented if anything is vandalized or damaged due to ignoring this rule*
  5. Please return all borrowed equipment before leaving the Union
  6. Please clean up after yourself

Arts and Crafts Station

Make a poster for a class, a club or to wish your friend a happy birthday!

Old Oak Tavern

Students can use their FlexDollars or cash to buy snacks. Watch the game on our huge flat-screen TV. The Tavern doubles as an intimate venue for open-mic nights and live performances from popular entertainers. Open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Media Corner

Plop yourself down in front of our wide-screen TV to watch a DVD, or surf the channels.

Games & Equipment

Challenge your friends to a game of pool, air hockey, table tennis, or shuffleboard. We also have a variety of board games.

Fireside Lounge

Curl up with a good book or just kick back in a comfy chair by the fireplace. This is the perfect place to rest up between classes or hold a club meeting.

Hi-Speed Wireless Internet

The wi-fi hotspot is available throughout the building.

DVD Movie Rental

Menlo College students, staff, and faculty are welcome to come and check out a DVD at no cost for up to a week. All movies are donated and are always welcome.

SERV Office

These resources are available to assist students with community service programs and opportunities.
