Menlo Connect Day

November 10, 2014
MENLO CONNECT DAY, formerly SBA Day, is a major annual event on the Menlo Campus. The program originated back in the 1970s as a means for Menlo students to interact with alumni and business community leaders. This year’s program, with keynote speaker Ronnie Lott, Silicon Valley investor, philanthropist and NFL Hall of Fame 49er cornerback and safety, will take place on Monday, November 10, 2014.
The goals of Menlo Connect Day are:
- To bring Menlo College alumni, Silicon Valley leaders and Menlo students and faculty together for friendly, informal discussion and an interchange of ideas.
- To re-acquaint the alumni community with the objectives of Menlo College and to expose them to some of the “best and brightest” Menlo students.
- To expose students to expert, experienced opinions on current trends in business, Silicon Valley and managerial policies and techniques, including alumni resources in these areas.
- To increase understanding of the responsibility and the role of students and alumni in their communities."
