SJSU Graduate and Undergraduate Athletic Training Education Program

 

Menlo College is fortunate to employ 2 Certified Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainers from San Jose State University and provide athletic training experience to undergraduate athletic training students. The graduate program offers graduate students an opportunity to use the skills learned during their post graduate courses. Graduate assistants are employed for 2 years, the duration of the graduate program, and receive a master of arts degree in athletic training upon completion.

The undergraduate program provides students opportunities to learn athletic training skills at different institutions. The undergraduate students rotate every 8 or 16 weeks and are expected to learn about prevention, treatment, management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
