Menlo College Home

"Menlo College has more than its share of special people. The administration, faculty, staff, and students all feature individuals whose diligence makes learning a journey instead of a sentence."
- Ernest Abeytia '11

After active duty in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era, Ernest Abeytia began a 33-year career in the semiconductor industry. Ernest worked at Fairchild Semiconductor in field sales, Intel Corporation and Monolithic Memories, before assuming the position of President, CEO and Board of Directors member at Novalog, a technology company in Southern California. Although he was an accomplished businessman, Ernest never stopped thinking about finishing college. He entered the Professional Studies Program in 2009, and graduated from Menlo College in 2011, as a Valedictorian with a degree in Marketing Management.
