Parents Club

Welcome Parents- future, current and past. You are automatically a member of the Parents' Club. Imagine the day when you’ll stand with your student at Commencement. Menlo College recognizes your critical role in supporting your student.
The 2011 Parents' Club is being developed through a core team of parents who can take the lead. Parents do not have to live in the Bay Area to be involved since Menlo is developing regional parent chapters.
The Parents Council is the core leadership and planning team. As regional parents club chapters are organized, each will decide upon several Parent Committees, e.g. Admissions/Recruitment, Communication, Affinity Interest Groups, and Fundraising.
Parents will determine the mission and scope of the Parents Club. Some activities may include parent-to- parent relations; special events like Orientation, Preview Day, and Open House; fundraising; and service projects.
With YOUR involvement, you will begin to:
- Build an inclusive link between you, other parents and Menlo. The more you know about Menlo College, the more you, as a parent, will appreciate and share the Menlo Experience.
- Understand what happens in college and still give your student independence.
- Engage in campus life. We encourage parents to find out about campus news and resources. The events calendar immediately gives parents information on campus life.
- Create social networks on Facebook and LinkedIn.com to connect and sign up for activities and major campus events.
