Benefits, Classification & Compensation

Full time positions for faculty or staff are eligible for our Employee Benefit programs.

Employees are paid every two weeks, on Friday. Exempt employees are salaried and only require notifying payroll of paid time off taken each pay period. Non-exempt and student employees must keep time cards by pay period which are turned into the payroll office for each pay period.

Human Resources maintains job classification and salary ranges for each position on campus. The College participates in several faculty and staff salary surveys in higher education each year. Additionally, the Human Resources Office participates in several local and national professional networks.

Following completion of a successful three month introductory period, new employees are eligible to participate in annual performance evaluations and merit salary increases.

Each department is responsible for performance appraisal and salary administration along budget guidelines.

Employees are expected to keep current in their job responsibilities and the College offers opportunities to continue education and pursue career advancement through internal training programs and external development opportunities.
