Menlo Softball vs. Alumni

Sixteen Menlo College Softball Alumni came back to Atherton to face the 2011 Menlo squad in a single contest Saturday morning. The Alumni team, comprising players from 2002 through 2010, started off the game leading 1-0.

In the second inning, Menlo struck back scoring 6 runs. The rally was fueled by back-to-back singles from Tricia Davidson and Serina Stephens and a triple by Ululani Reyes. The Alumni fought back with one run in the fourth and a solo homerun by Amanda Colon in the sixth inning. Menlo continued to chip away with runs in the fourth and fifth innings winning the game 14-3.

Thank you to all the Alumni for returning to Menlo and playing a light-hearted game against our 2011 team. We hope to see all of you again in next year's Alumni game.

The game was followed by a BBQ for all alumni, current players and families. This was a great event and we look forward to continuing this tradition.
