Students Enjoy Business Etiquette Dinner
March 15, 2013:
With lunch interviews and dinner meetings being common practice in today’s business world, knowing how to present yourself at the table is essential. On Sunday, March 3, Menlo College students and faculty got together to practice their table manners at the Annual Etiquette Dinner.
The dinner kicked off with a Business Card Challenge, which gave students and professors a chance to trade business cards and interact. This was followed by a three-course meal, led by Mary Robins, Director of Career Services.
“The Etiquette dinner was a great event that I feel would be beneficial to any student planning to work in a professional setting who could possibly be presented with the task of dining in a banquette setting,” commented Anthony Bernard ’13, one of the students who came to the event.
