Student organizations enrich the social, academic, and athletic culture of Menlo College. Here are some of the groups that attended the Fall 2010 Club Fair.
Menlo College Accounting Club
The Menlo College Accounting Club was developed to help students get a better understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to enter a career in accounting. Members of the club have the opportunity to interact and network with local accounting professionals and gain valuable insight into being an effective interviewee and meeting employer expectations.
Ethics in Action Club
A strong moral compass is necessary for businesses by virtue of a company's influence on its employees, its shareholders, the economy and society. Ethical individuals become ethical business leaders. The Ethics in Action Club works to educate the College community on the importance of making ethical decisions.
Gay-Straight Alliance
Menlo College's Gay-Straight Alliance is open to all students, faculty and staff, and works to promote awareness of the LGTBQ community. The club hosts a variety of events, including dances, movie nights and awareness programs.
Outdoors Club
In the spirit of taking in Northern California's natural beauty, the Outdoors Club arranges twice-monthly hikes to locations such as Angel Island, Castle Rock, and the Pinnacles National Monument. The club's activities have given students and professors the opportunity to form lasting friendships.
