Marcie Van Dusen Coaches Junior Team to National Title

Led by Menlo College's Marcie Van Dusen, the head coach of its women's wrestling program, the California USA Wrestling women's team beat Texas, 29-26, at the Junior Nationals Women’s Duals. It is the second time that Dusen has led the California team to victory; the team also won in 2009.

Van Dusen, a former Olympian and U.S. national champion, joined Menlo College in the fall of 2010. "Marcie Van Dusen experienced her share of success as an Olympian and World Team member in women’s freestyle wrestling. Now she’s shifting her focus to developing wrestlers as a top young coach," wrote Craig Sesker for USA Wrestling of the win.
