With Homecoming just a couple of days away, excitement is in the air—not just for the undefeated Oaks football team—for all of Menlo Athletics. This past week, Menlo athletes have been written up and recognized by local media and the NAIA for their athletic accomplishments and exceptional teamwork.
Football
The Oaks made a great comeback last weekend against Whitworth to garner their third consecutive win on the road and a 4-0 record. For the first time this year, the team was also recognized in the NAIA’s Top 25. "There is a nice buzz," said coach Fred Guidici. Read the buzz:

Women’s Soccer
This week, the Lady Oaks took home their first win of the season—and freshman players Steffany Dudley and Arielle Peraza were recognized as the Cal Pac Players of the Week. Read more about women’s soccer:

Men’s Soccer
Men’s soccer was featured in the San Jose Mercury News and on Palo Alto Online for its great teamwork and sense of community, and senior Matheus Barbosa was recently named Cal Pac Player of the Week. "Menlo athletics is on the move upward in a big way," said coach Mike Keller. Read about the upward move:

Volleyball
Last week, senior Amanda Sutter was named Cal Pac Player of the Week and the Lady Oaks team won an impressive 3-0 match against conference rival William Jessup.
