Finding Magazine, Newspaper, and Journal Articles

CountryWatch - Search reports and news wire items on international topics by using the search box in the upper right-hand corner.

CQ Researcher - Search here for reports on timely and controversial topics, such as globalization, corporate social responsibility, and technology.

EBSCOhost - Our largest collection of articles in newspapers, magazines, and journals. Be sure to take a look at the subject headings that appear on the left after you've done your search.

JSTOR - Scholarly journal articles in various fields.

LexisNexis Academic - Magazines and newspapers from around the world.

Using the World of Google

Google Scholar - Provides access to scholarly literature only. Note that the full text is not available for all articles. If full text is not available, try searching the journal name in the bottom search box on the Library home page to see if the Library has a subscription. You may also order the article via Interlibrary Loan.

Google Books - Use to search for and view Ebooks on the web. Some books may be available in partial view only. Books can be ordered via Interlibrary Loan.

Google Advanced Search - Use this to restrict your results to pages with specific domains (such as .org) or with specific dates.
