Go to the LA84 Foundation search page to search a large collection of sports materials, including sports journals and other publications. There's also a very useful list of links to other resources on sport research and information.

Nielsen Media Research
Search for "Sports Media" to access reports such as "State of the Media: Year in Sports, 2010." Free registration is required for access to some reports. Use the Industries tab to go to "Media & Entertainment" to "Sports" or a particular kind of media.

Pew Research Center
Information on current issues and trends, plus statistics from Pew polls. Try searching for "sports and media." The Pew Internet and American Life Project contains info on the impact of new media on sports coverage and viewing.
