Search the Book and Media Catalog by keyword for the author of your story to see if there are books of literary criticism about the author's work.
Take a look at the six-volume set Short Story Criticism or the 94-volume set Twentieth-Century Literary Criticism, both in the reference collection, to see if your story is covered.
