Accounting Faculty
Menlo College seeks applications for an Accounting faculty member. The candidate must be Academically Qualified by AACSB standards and be capable of teaching undergraduate level courses either in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, or Auditing. The position requires ongoing campus service activities and scholarship in peer-reviewed publications. About the College: Menlo College is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, home of HP, Cisco, Goggle, Yahoo, Apple, Oracle, Tesla, eBay, and hundreds of other well-recognized, 21st century companies. Founded in 1927, Menlo College enrolls more than 600 students in its traditional undergraduate program and approximately 80 additional students in its professional studies program. Plans are underway to offer graduate management programs within the next two years.
Menlo College's mission is to develop future leaders through a liberal arts-based business education that integrates academic study and fieldwork in a Silicon Valley environment unmatched in its potential for innovation. To fulfill its mission, the College has created new majors in Accounting, Finance and Marketing. In June, Menlo College was granted candidacy status by AACSB. Successful faculty candidates will bridge business theory and practice through quality instruction and applied intellectual contributions. Minimum qualifications for faculty positions: A Ph.D. or D.B.A. degree from an AACSB accredited business school in accounting, and appropriate experience and scholarly research record is required. Rank is open depending on qualifications.
