Victor Rico-Gutierrez ’09 

Upon graduation, the San Jose Earthquakes, a local major league soccer team, offered Victor an entry-level position as an Inside Ticket Sales Representative. Read more about Victor.

Nathan Jackson ’01

NFL Pro Football player with the SF 49ers and Denver Broncos. Played in the NFL for six seasons, his first with the 49ers. He gives credit to Bill Walsh, who took the 49ers to two Super Bowl Championships, for his break. Nate currently writes for Slate Magazine and has a contract to write about the world inside of professional sports.

Mark Speckman ’75, played football while a student at Menlo and is now its head coach.  Born with no hands, Mark proves that almost anything is possible if one has the determination and perseverance to succeed. Mark is in great demand these days as a public speaker.
