Career Services for Alumni

Job Search

Looking for that perfect next job? Menlo's Career Center is pleased to announce Menlo CareerLink powered by Symplicity, a new way for alumni to access job listings and career information. To register with CareerLink, follow the link and go to the right hand side of the page to register. Then, complete the information and submit. You'll receive an email from Menlo-csm.symplicity.com asking you to confirm your email address. Once confirmed, you'll receive another email with your user name and password.

Check in weekly by logging in with your email address as your Username. You may change your password on your Profile Page using the Password/Preferences tab. If at any time you forget your password, click the "Forgot my password" tab and another password will be emailed to your email address.

We receive new job postings almost daily, so check back often.

If you have questions regarding the new system or if you are having trouble logging onto the site, please call Mary Robins at 650-543-3735 or Melissa Fanucchi at 650-543-3773.

Counseling and Career Assessment

Are you ready for a career change? Private and confidential counseling may provide you with the insight that you need to move forward. Menlo Career Center can administer a variety of career assessments including: Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Self-Directed Search, Work Driven Values and Skillscan.

To discuss your needs further or to make and appointment, contact Mary Robins.

Resume and Cover Letter Review

If you need to update your resume and would like the assistance and feedback of Mary Robins, you can email your resume to Mary and she will provide feedback via telephone. You can also make an appointment to discuss your resume with Mary in person.

You may now also upload your resume on Menlo CareerLink.

Networking, Informational Interviewing & Special Events

Are you willing to share your story with our current Menlo students? If you are willing to spend some one-on-one time with a student as he or she explores career options, please contact Mary Robins (mrobins@menlo.edu). Before any contact names are released, students will be coached through the informational interview process, to ensure that the student is well prepared to take advantage of the time she/he spends with you.

Throughout the year, there are opportunities to share your knowledge and experiences with Menlo students. Alumni are invited to participate in events such as the Annual Etiquette Dinner, the Women's Luncheon and classroom presentations.

For more information on these events, contact Mary Robins or Melissa Fanucchi.

Hire a Menlo Student or Alumnus

If you would like to establish an employer NACELink account, you may register for an account at Menlo CareerLink. If you have already registered with another school and their NACELink system, you can use the same user name and password with our system. Since the system is email sensitive, you will not be able to use the same user name on the student/alumni side and the employer side. Once you register, you will receive an email with your user name (your email address) and a password. As part of the email, you will receive an attachment, the CSM Employer Interface Guide that will provide you with information about the system.

When you're ready to post a job or internship, go to Menlo CareerLink and sign in. Follow the Quick Link to "Post a Job For this School Only" and complete the job profile. There is no charge for posting your position to Menlo College.
