Named for Menlo College's legendary teacher and administrator, the Judge Russell Society serves to recognize those who are investing in the future of Menlo College through the use of lifetime and estate gifts. Donors who have remembered Menlo with a bequest or deferred gift of any amount or type are invited to become Founding Members of the Judge Russell Society.
Each contribution, whatever its size, is essential to the College's future. Deferred gifts help Menlo plan for the future Judge Russell envisioned during his seven decade association with Menlo,
"To build competent and confident managers of global perspective while also promoting and protecting the intimacy of relationships among alumni, faculty and students."
You are eligible to belong to the Judge Russell Society by providing for Menlo in your estate plan through a bequest, a gift of life insurance, a charitable remainder trust, or other forms of deferred gifts. If you have included Menlo College in your estate or financial plans, but have not yet activated your membership in the Judge Russell Society, we invite you to contact us. We would be most pleased to include you as a Founding Member.
All those who qualify for membership in the Judge Russell Society will, with their permission, be listed in the annual Honor Roll of Donors, be invited to the Judge Russell Society's Presidential Luncheon each Spring, and receive a Judge Russell Society Stock Certificate as a sign of their investment in Menlo College.
John D. Russell left an indelible mark on the heart and soul of each student he touched throughout his career. Because of his charisma, wisdom and willingness to be a friend and mentor to every student, Judge Russell is remembered even today as the beacon of light that so clearly illuminates Menlo College's path to greatness.
