Our Student Ambassadors

Our Student Ambassadors play an important role at Menlo College. They are ready to show you around campus, and answer any questions you might have about student life and Menlo College in general.

Julia Anduray

San Fernando Valley, California.
Major: Psychology.
What I love about Menlo: The family type of feel, the smaller campus and the faculty.
My most awesome Menlo moments: The retreat, meeting my friends and the on campus events.
My Menlo Insider Secret: Be an ambassador, join a lot of clubs, get involved. The more people you know, the more fun the experience is here. It is easy to make friends on your hall floor.
Favorite activities/sports: Baseball.

Bayley Blackney

El Dorado Hills, California.
Major: Marketing.
What I love about Menlo: The people! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The small population of students makes Menlo a family.
My most awesome Menlo moment: Winning the volleyball Cal Pac Conference championship game and feeling the love and support of families and the Menlo crowd.
My Menlo Insider Secret: Get involved! The small community at Menlo provides opportunities to join clubs or attend events, like SBA Day. Your college experience is what you make of it, so be active and make connections!
Favorite activities/sports: Volleyball and Yoga Club.

Garrett Bock

Valley Springs, California.
Major: Marketing.
What I love about Menlo: The cafeteria and small community atmosphere allows everyone to be close.
My most awesome Menlo moment: Mystery Dance 2013 on a boat!
My Menlo Insider Secret: The pool was donated by the owner of the Titans who is an alumni of Menlo.
Favorite activities/sports: Football, weight training and the great outdoors!

Brendon Brekke

Dublin, California.
Major: Undeclared.
What I love about Menlo: The community, the size and the food. The professors here are great and everyone treats you like a family member.
My most awesome Menlo moment: Definitely the Homecoming Dance. It was a great time and I look forward to future dances. The orientation experience as a whole was also pretty awesome.
|My Menlo Insider Secret: I’m currently helping assemble the Haunted House and participating in multiple clubs. Talk to everyone and get active in the school. It’s a lot of fun, and check the SERV page often.
Favorite activities/sports: Baseball, watching sports, and driving.

What I love about Menlo: The size of the school and how really close you feel to everyone, and not being overwhelmed by a lot of people and big class sizes.
My most awesome Menlo moment: Definitely the retreat and all the fun orientation activities to really get us into the Menlo spirit.
My Menlo Insider Secret: Join clubs to meet more people, never be afraid to explore outside, don’t be afraid to sit out in the Quad on a nice day and Lucky Charms Rice Krispies Treats.

What I love about Menlo: Everything. The diversity, the dedicated staff, the beautiful campus, the activities and the small classes.

What I love about Menlo: How I can get help from my professors one-on-one. They have office hours that are very convenient to my class schedule.
My most awesome Menlo moment: When I got into the Ambassador Program because I get to meet and build good relationships with other students.
My Menlo Insider Secret: I’ve seen President James Kelly join the residential assistants in getting pied during the “Pie your RA” event.

What I love about Menlo: The size of the school is great for people who know what they want to major in. The location is ideal. Close to town, shows, the city. And Menlo is a great way to begin a career in the business world.

What I love about Menlo: The small size makes it easier to get to know people and get involved in on-campus activities. Lots of restaurants and places to eat in close vicinity. Its location is in the heart of the Silicon Valley.
My most awesome Menlo moment: Getting chosen as a Student Ambassador.
My Menlo Insider Secret: Be the first person to break the ice with another person and you can become friends in no time. It’s best to get involved in as many clubs as you can.

The intimate community. Since we are so small, you get to know all the students and make a lot of friends. The faculty and staff are always there for you, too!

My Menlo Insider Secret: Years ago, Menlo had a polo team (yes the one with the horses). One of the players was invited by Queen Elizabeth to play in England!
