Transferring to Menlo

Ready to transfer to Menlo? It is an easy process to bring your class credits with you. You’ll be glad that you moved to complete a degree at Menlo College. Our personal approach is useful when you need to open some doors with an internship, a persuasive elevator pitch and some work-oriented expertisé. You’ll be in the perfect location to succeed!

Transfer Students1, 2, 3 steps to get started!​

  1. Understand how Menlo defines a transfer student.
    A transfer applicant is defined as any applicant who has graduated from high school and who has successfully completed at least 12 transferable academic semester credit hours (18 quarter credits) with a recalculated GPA of 2.0 or above. Applicants with fewer credits are welcome to apply. However, they must also submit high school transcript and SAT or ACT scores. If you aren’t sure, contact our Admissions Office to determine whether the courses you have taken constitute “transferable academic” credit hours.
  2. Apply!
    It's never too early to apply for admission. Submit your online application. Please be sure to visit our Transfer Requirements section for details on what documents are required for admission. Email PDF copies of unofficial transcripts to admissions@menlo.edu and request a transfer assessment. Hear back from us within five business days!
  3. Schedule a visit!
    The best way to experience Menlo is to visit campus. Select from a variety of visit-related activities, including one-on-one admissions counseling sessions, campus tours and sit in on a class. Let us know when you want to come!
