All applicants must file an application for admission and pay the non-refundable $40 application fee. Also, all applicants must provide the following documents:

For High School Students

  • Official Transcripts from your current high school
  • Official SAT or ACT results (students attending high school taught in English)
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS results (all other international students)
  • One Letter of Recommendation (must be from a teacher or counselor)
  • Personal Essay (250 words explaining your greatest strengths and weaknesses, why you seek a degree, what your expectations are of college, and why you believe that Menlo College is a good choice for you)
  • Certificate of Finance (must show $53,960 in current account to pay for your first year at Menlo College)
  • Bank Statement or Letter on Bank Letterhead verifying the above claimed amount is on deposit in a current account

Students Transferring From a University Abroad

  • Personal Essay (250 words explaining your greatest strengths and weaknesses, why you seek a degree, what your expectations are of college, and why you believe that Menlo College is a good choice for you)
  • Certificate of Finance (must show $53,960 in current account to pay for your first year at Menlo College)
  • Bank Statement or Letter on Bank Letterhead verifying the above claimed amount is on deposit in a current account
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS results
  • Official transcripts from your current college (if you are attending a college or university abroad you will need to have your transcripts evaluated by WES – World Education Services at www.wes.org)

Enrollment Commitment

You must complete the Confirmation of Acceptance form and pay your non-refundable $250 tuition deposit before Menlo College can issue form I-20, needed by international students to secure an appointment for a F-1 Student Visa interview at the U.S. Embassy in their home country. Once Menlo College has issued the form I-20 we will notify you by email of your SEVIS number. The SEVIS number is required to pay the form I-901 SEVIS fee, needed to apply for a visa.

International students (F-1) transferring from a school in the United States are not required to exit the United States or pay another SEVIS fee if they have continually remained in good status.
