The President
Menlo College is led by Timothy Haight, Menlo's 8th president and chief executive officer.
Governance and Organization
Menlo College is a public benefit corporation with corporate powers under the laws of the State of California and is a tax-exempt entity under section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. The Board of Trustees (with a maximum membership of 25) is responsible for the selection and evaluation of the president, setting policy and ensuring the financial integrity of the College. The board administers the College's invested funds, sets the annual budget, and establishes policies for operation and control of the College. The board delegates broad authority to the President to operate the College, and to the faculty on certain academic matters. In addition to the President and his executive team, college governance at Menlo includes several bodies: The Board of Trustees, the Faculty Senate, and deans and directors.
Accreditation
Menlo College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Organization
The College is organized into a number of academic and administrative units which report to the deans, directors, and senior administrative officers listed above.
