Registration is overseen by the Office of the Registrar. Registration for continuing students takes place directly after the schedule of classes for the next semester is published. This generally occurs about mid-semester. Registration dates are listed in the schedule materials and in the academic calendar. Student class level (which is determined by the number of credits earned) determines registration priority. Students are encouraged to register early in the regular registration period to maximize the chance of obtaining the courses desired. Continuing students who register during the late registration period are assessed a $75 late fee.

The following is applicable for Fall and Spring Registration:

Students are required to register online using IQ.WEB (http://iq.menlo.edu). EXCEPTION: If you originally transferred into Menlo, you will need to register by submitting a Registration Form to the Office of the Registrar.

Students must be clear with the Student Accounts Office before they may register for classes. Other holds such as Transcripts, Judicial, etc. may also prevent registration. Contact the appropriate offices for clearance.

Students must consult their Academic Advisor before registering. The Academic Advisor must then either electronically approve online registration for the student or sign the Registration Form. If you do not know who your Faculty Advisor is please contact the Academic Advising Office or the Office of the Registrar.

Registration officially closes at 12:00am the Sunday before classes begin. If students have not registered by this time they must get signed into each desired course by the instructor on an Add Slip.

The following is applicable for Summer Term Registration:

All students must register by submitting a Registration Form to the Office of the Registrar- online registration is not utilized for Summer terms.

Spring tuition payments must be up-to-date and no other debts may be owed before students can register for Summer Term courses. Other holds such as Transcripts, Judicial, etc. may also prevent registration. Contact the appropriate offices for clearance. Half of the total summer tuition is due at the time of registration.

Registration must be completed prior to the first day of the session. Registration Forms are considered late if turned in on or after the first day of the session. Late Registration Forms will be accepted only if the instructor has signed the student into class on either the Registration Form or an Add Slip. Students must consult their Academic Advisor BEFORE registering. The Academic Advisor must sign the Registration Form. If the Academic Advisor is not available approval may be obtained from the Coordinator of Academic Advising.

The student is ultimately responsible for verifying registration, prerequisites and graduation requirements. The Menlo College Schedule of Courses is subject to change without notice.

In the event that tuition and fees are not received by the due date, the student's registration may be canceled, and the student will be required to re-register.
