Human Resource Management Program
Human Resource Management Option in Management Major, B.A. in Business
If you like working with people and have a penchant for detail, the human resource management option may be right for you. HR managers are responsible for the hiring, training, development and compensation of an organization's employees. They are often involved in strategic planning since, in today's knowledge based economy, people are typically an organization's most valuable resource. Courses in the option include benefits and compensation, staffing/training/development, employment law, and HRM strategy.
This is an example of a possible guideline for on-time graduation from Menlo College. For full requirements and prerequisites, please refer back to degree checklists or the course catalog. Students must also pass the English Proficiency Exam in order to graduate.
