School of Business Administration Advisory Board
The School of Business Administration's Advisory Board will assist in developing programs that meet the needs of the greater business community, establishing links between various stakeholders, and providing a sounding board to ensure that the School maintains its entrepreneurial and innovative approach to management education.

Thor Geir Ramleth is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Bechtel Group, Inc., where he leads the global Information Systems and Technology organization. Prior to rejoining Bechtel in January 2002, Mr. Ramleth held leadership positions for a variety of companies in the technology and communications industry. Among his responsibilities in those roles, he defined strategy and market position and secured multiple forms of financial resources.
Previously, Mr. Ramleth served as chairman and CEO of DigiPlex, based in Zurich, Switzerland, which owned and operated large communications and networking facilities throughout Europe. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Genuity, a Bechtel Enterprises company formed to deliver Internet and data services. Mr. Ramleth has held management positions with Oracle, PageMart, and PacTel Personal Communications.

Gary Kremen, entrepreneur, inventor, executive and investor, has over twenty-five years experience with emerging growth companies and developing information technology. Gary was the founder of Match.Com, the world's largest dating service. Most recently, Gary founded Clean Power Finance, a consumer finance company that is making the purchase of residential solar power simple and affordable. He is the primary inventor of the seminal US patent for creating dynamic web pages. He has invested in over 50 private companies and is a frequent speaker on the topics of on-line marketing, business development and capital-raising for emerging growth companies. He is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and also has degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northwestern University.

Carolyn Amster '79 is a Tax Partner in the Palo Alto office of Burr Pilger Mayer. Carolyn has over 20 years of experience in public accounting assisting clients with tax planning, estate planning, compliance and research. Her experience includes stock option planning, wealth transfer, transaction analysis and representation before the IRS and Franchise Tax Board. She started her career in the tax department of a "Big Eight" accounting firm and has worked extensively with high net worth individuals, public charities, private foundations, trusts, estates, privately owned companies, partnerships and LLCs. Carolyn graduated from Menlo College in 1979 where she was honored with the F. Philler Curtis award. She has a JD from the University of San Francisco and a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM) from Golden Gate University. She is a member of the AICPA, California Society of CPA's, and Financial Women's Association of San Francisco. She currently sits on the board of Family and Children's Services and is a member of both the finance and audit committees. She is a former member of the Board of Governors for the University of San Francisco School of Law. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her twin girls.

Sharon Selleck is a Director in the Palo Alto office Assurance group at Burr Pilger Mayer. Sharon has over 15 years of experience in public accounting providing audit and review services for both publicly held companies and closely-held businesses. In addition to chairing the new Menlo College Accounting Advisory Board with Professor Little, Sharon also chairs the scholarship committee of the Peninsula-Silicon Valley chapter of the California Society of CPAs which has provided scholarships to Menlo students for the past 7 years.
