"We're building the best small college in the West. Important to our progress is the help of the extended Menlo College community, and in particular our talented faculty, staff, alumni, parents, friends, and Trustees."

Welcome to Menlo College – the Small College that Changes Lives

Yes, Menlo College changes lives. I hear it from alumni and current students each and every day. We can do that because we are a close-knit and diverse community of students, faculty and staff who are passionate about making a difference in the world. We are a community of approximately 800 students who see opportunities and jump on them. Our diverse student body represents 24 states and 33 nationalities.

Menlo College is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, the most entrepreneurial and innovative area in the world. And our students take full advantage of that location. Companies like Facebook, Google, Twitter and Apple are within a short distance to campus. Thousands of start-up companies are here too. In fact, there are student-led start-ups launched each year at the College. Some say innovation and entrepreneurship is in the air here.

All very exciting but what changes lives here is the attention students receive. With a very low student-to-faculty ratio, students receive personal attention and guidance from faculty who are devoted to helping students become well-rounded leaders who will get jobs and change the world. Outside of the classroom, a myriad of opportunities offer a strong foundation of leadership skills with sports, clubs, and social activities that build on the personal attributes needed for success.

The Menlo College internship program helps students explore a career path and learn how to cultivate and market their personal brand. The combination of the personal attention, the opportunity to be involved, and the internship program is the key to our success. The proof is in the vast number of our alumni who have become some of the most successful and influential business leaders in the world.

I feel privileged to be a part of the Menlo College community. When we hear students and alumni say, “Menlo changed my life” we know that living, learning and playing together in a small, close-knit community can do that.
